1. Pet Bales
PET bales are primarily any whole polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle with a screw cap containing the ASTM D7611 resin identification code “#1, PET or PETE” and are transparent, transparent green or transparent blue.

Plastic Flakes are plastic bottles go through a pre-screening process of PET bottles – discarding impurities by color and by material type, and a subsequent washing process – the bottles are placed in a mill or shredder and turned into flakes.
